At Green Run High School, Becky Burnsworth’s psychology classes got a hands-on lesson about the importance of perception. Students experimented and tested their visual perception when their field of vision was altered by twenty degrees and they had to throw and catch a ball. They also learned how powerful sight and suggestion can be in influencing taste perception by trying to guess what flavor of Jello-O despite the color.
