Fourth-graders worked for two months with the city’s Landscape Management division of Parks and Recreation to locate and identify trees on their campus, and to identify which ones should be added to the school’s campus. They presented their findings and a plan of action to the principal Tim Sullivan.

The students worked hand in hand with employees from the Landscape Management division of Parks and Recreation to plant a live oak tree and a London plane tree.
