Kempsville High School graduate Seth Lubaton is giving back to Virginia Beach City Public Schools, during National Arts in Education Week and beyond.
Lubation was an award-winning artist at Kempsville who studied graphic design at Tidewater Community College.
He’s currently painting a seascape mural in the cafeteria at Ocean Lakes Elementary School. The project is sponsored by the school’s PTA.
Small touches on the mural include creating a plane tail number, “OLES PTA,” for the plane flying the banner in the top right corner of the mural. He is scheduled to complete the mural soon.
