Students in the CSI club at Kempsville Middle School (KMS) participated in a lesson taught by Virginia Beach Forensics Specialist Jared Smolinski and School Resource Officer Ramon Abreu-Perez.
Students learned how evidence is collected, labeled, and stored. They were also able to practice how to dust and collect finger print evidence. This lesson was part of a series that will enable students to analyze a crime scene at the end of the course. The course is being taught by Officer Abreu-Perez KMS SRO.
