As you know, as part of Goal Four in our strategic framework – a culture of growth and excellence, the importance on improving working conditions and fostering a culture of respect for all staff. For the past 20 years, the transportation staff at the Glenwood garage have seen firsthand how the smallest gestures and acts of kindness can have a transformative power in a workplace. And that is because of Shawn Olsen, a transportation servicemen’s helper. Beginning his time at the garage through a partnership with SECEP, he has now accrued two decades of service – helping to ensure our buses are prepped and ready for their routes on the road. While doing his work, it is the personal touch he brings that truly sets him apart.
