Throughout the spring, Virginia Beach students have been competing in the Great Computer Challenge (GCC), held at Old Dominion University. The competition, which is a joint project of WHRO, the Consortium for Interactive Instruction and Old Dominion University, allows students from every grade level to show their abilities in the digital world, including graphic design, web design and video editing – just to name a few.
The senior challenge, which is for grades six through 12, took place in early March and the junior challenge, for kindergartners through fifth-graders, took place last week. Click here to see the results from the senior challenge, and click here to see the results from the junior challenge.
All total, the school division took home 21 awards from the senior challenge and seven from the junior challenge.
