The Landstown High School Governor’s STEM & Technology Academy Robotics Program is pleased to announce a new classroom partner. Coppelia Robotics in Switzerland has agreed to provide their state of the art “Virtual Robot Experimental Platform” or VREP software, to the Academy’s Advanced Robotics classroom.
VREP is used for fast algorithm development, factory automation simulations, fast prototyping and verification, robotics related education, and remote monitoring by individuals and companies worldwide.
The Advanced Robotics students will utilize this state-of-the-art software as part of the Design and Modeling unit of study within the curriculum under the instruction of Dr. Jim Barger.
