Students interested in attending one of the school division’s academies or advanced academic programs are required to submit an application. The online application is available beginning today, Oct. 20, at www.vbschools.com/curriculum/academyprog/appprocess.asp. Applications must be submitted by Jan. 9, 2017.

All high school programs were represented at a citywide information night Oct. 19, giving students and parents an opportunity to learn more about the various programs of study.

In addition to the citywide event, each program hosts an information night for prospective students and parents to discuss the program in more detail. A complete list of scheduled information nights is available on vbschools.com.
