Internet access is a necessity for all families to use for school research and assignments, job searches, email and more. Cox Communications is teaming up with Connect2Compete (C2C) to provide discounted internet access and devices to Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) students and families qualifying for the National School Lunch Program.
A family qualifies if they have at least one child eligible for free school lunches. In addition, the family must not have any outstanding Cox bills, unreturned equipment and they must not have subscribed to Cox High Speed Internet in the last 90 days. Qualified families will pay $9.95 per month and there are no deposits, contracts, installation fee or modem rental fees.
To enroll, visit Connect2Compete.org/cox or call 855-222-3252.
Although we don’t qualify I find this program absolutely amazing. What a wonderful opportunity for those who can’t afford it.
