Commencement ceremonies at the Virginia Beach Convention Center celebrated moments inside and outside the classroom that developed students into future ready members of our community.
Nearly 5,000 students make up The Class of 2025.
Student graduation speakers said they are thankful and feel well prepared to address what lies ahead with confidence borne by hard work, discipline and encouragement

Here are some preliminary facts about the Class of 2025:
- Total number of graduates: 4,980
- The amount of scholarships they accepted increased over 9Â percent to $62,784,396 this year compared to last year.
- They were offered an outstanding $115,547,006 in scholarships.
- Of our graduates, 2,876 (58 percent) will be attending a four-year college.
- 892 (18 percent) will be attending a two-year college.
- 532 (11 percent) are entering the workforce.
- 312 (6 percent) are pursuing apprenticeships, business school or trade school.
- 224 (about 4.5 percent) are enlisting in the military.
