The Virginia Beach City-Wide Student Cooperative Association (SCA) is once again hosting its charity dodgeball tournament to get students, teachers and principals playing for a good cause. The 2017 Virginia Beach City-Wide SCA Dodgeball Tournament will be held at Larkspur Middle School, Thursday, Jan. 26.
This year, all of the funds raised will go to benefit “I Need A Lighthouse,” a depression and suicide education awareness program.
The Virginia Beach City-Wide SCA serves as the governing body for the 12 individual high school SCA organizations. Each year, the organization takes on a service project. Teams are comprised of VBCPS high school students and VBCPS faculty/staff from across the city.
Tickets to the tournament will be sold at the door for $5.
For more information about the event, call the division’s Office of Student Activities at 757-263-2030.
