For more than 15 years, the Virginia Beach Education Foundation (VBEF) has sought artwork from Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) employees to produce an annual commemorative print. Print sales benefit the VBEF’s Adopt A+ Grant program and support innovative and creative learning programs for VBCPS students.
The VBEF is asking students, staff and the community to help select the 2016 Commemorative Print by voting for their favorite of four original works of art. To participate in the online vote, visit the 2016 print page on the VBEF website, click the vote button under your favorite piece and select “Submit Vote” at the bottom of the page.
Only one vote per person is permitted, and online voting will conclude at 12 p.m. Nov. 10. The winning artwork and artist will be announced the VBEF’s annual TGIF (Teacher Grants Improve Futures) Celebration later that evening at the Sandler Center.
