Though high school graduation was months ago, Princess Anne High School graduates from the International Baccalaureate program were back together at their alma mater for the Annual International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma and Certificate Awarding Ceremony. The ceremony commemorates the work of the students in the program, and it gives the students the chance to receive their IB diplomas and certificates.
The keynote speaker for the event was none other than 2011 Princess Anne and IB graduate Elizabeth Williams. Williams was a four-time All-American basketball player at Duke University, and her jersey will be retired at the school stadium at the end of the year. Williams currently plays for the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA.
