It was a homecoming of sorts at the fifth annual Kempsville Middle School Leadership Workshop. High school students from Kempsville and Princess Anne as well as three former Kempsville students who now study at ODU were on hand at the workshop. They helped with planning the two-day event and even taught leadership classes.

Seventy-two students from Kempsville Middle School and 13 high school counselors from Kempsville and Princess Anne high schools attended the annual retreat. Students spent two days at school and Triple R Ranch in Chesapeake learning how to improve their leadership skills.
