The school division is launching a brand new digital newsletter that will deliver school news, features and information straight to subscribers’ inboxes. A Slice of VBCPS will be emailed to subscribers mail every Monday at noon.

“I love seeing the great things happening in Virginia Beach schools on the website and through social media,” said Alice Catherman, parent and president of the Virginia Beach Council of PTAs, said in a press release. “Now, to have such interesting and helpful information delivered straight to my email inbox helps keep me up to date and even more in the know with my children’s schools and the division.”

The weekly e-newsletter will serve as an accompanying publication to the division’s print newsletter Apple-A-Day and the division’s community blog, The Core.

VBCPS families and staff will receive the first four editions of A Slice of VBCPS via the school division’s Alert Now email service beginning Monday, Jan. 30.
