Each fall Hampton Roads area students, including all VBCPS students, receive blue federal cards to take home for parents/guardians to complete, sign and return to their child’s school. This year the federal card is due back to school no later than Friday, Nov. 1.

The federal card survey is taken each October to determine the number of federally-connected students being served by our division. The information remains confidential and is used to apply for Department of Education Impact Aid funds that help educate all students throughout our division. Please be on the lookout in your child’s backpack for this blue card so you may complete and sign the card as soon as possible.
