Seventh-grade historians in Colleen Clukey’s class at Landstown Middle School recently created newsreels using the PowToon Cartoon Creater tool. These newsreels were used to illustrate a chosen essential question for World War I. Students were able to choose between two essential questions:
What were the effects of American participation in the war at home and abroad?
Why did the United States become involved in World War I?
