All of the division’s high school academy and advanced academic programs will showcased at a citywide information night Thursday, Oct. 22, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. Students and parents are invited to attend to learn more about the following programs:
- Entrepreneurship and Business Academy
- Global Studies and World Languages Academy
- Governor’s STEM and Technology Academy
- Health Sciences Academy
- International Baccalaureate Program
- Legal Studies Academy
- Mathematics and Science Academy
- Visual and Performing Arts Academy
Doors open at 5 p.m. for attendees to visit exhibits and speak with program representatives. A welcome session at 6 p.m. will include an overview of all programs, introduction of program coordinators and transportation services information. Following the opening session, students and parents may attend concurrent breakout sessions for the individual programs. The concurrent sessions will repeat on the half-hour (6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8).
