Athletes competing in the NCAA Division II Track and Field National Championships recently visited W.T. Cooke Elementary to speak with students about what it takes to be a successful student athlete.

They also joined students in PE, participating in activities and friendly competitions together.

The following day, students attended the championship at the Virginia Beach Sports Center, where they practiced ordering decimals and completing metric conversions while watching the athletes compete.
