Landstown Middle and Landstown High
This spring, gifted eighth graders at Landstown Middle and gifted students from Landstown High continue to collaborate on the service project, “Blooms & Blankets: Cultivating Community Comfort.” During the first half of the school year, students created blankets to donate to ForKids, an organization supporting local families facing homelessness.
More recently, students drafted creative designs for flowerpots, which they will craft and gift to residents of a local assisted living facility. The project fosters empathy, creativity and meaningful connections across schools and generations.
