Salem’s Hawaiian salute for one of its own

Salem High School staff members proudly wore Hawaiian shirts on the first in-service day to honor the memory of Bruce Lewis. Lewis unexpectedly passed away this summer after serving the students of the Salem community for 20 years. Lewis was known for creating an excellent rapport with his students and wearing Hawaiian shirts as his signature fashion statement. He will be dearly missed by students and staff.
