More than 50 teachers participated in a National Board Certification workshop on Saturday, Jan. 9, hosted by the Office of Professional Growth and Innovation. These teachers are starting or continuing their journey to reach the highest mark of professional accomplishment.
Participants learned about the board-certification process, reflected on their teaching practice and discussed ways to improve student learning and engagement. A highlight of the morning was the testimony of Tom Quinn, a 2015 National Board Certified Teacher.
