Teachers and staff at Hermitage Elementary celebrated big news yesterday. The school had been named a 2014 National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Hermitage is one of 10 schools in Virginia to achieve the honor.
It was the second year the school achieved this honor – Hermitage previously earned a Blue Ribbon title in 2005.
