Jackson named Counselor of the Year

Tracy L. Jackson, coordinator of Guidance Services for Virginia City Public Schools, was named the 2012 Counselor of the Year award by the Virginia Counselor Association. Ms. Jackson will receive this award at the annual state conference held in Fredericksburg, VA on Nov. 16.

The association stated that “her dedication to the field of counseling is exemplary and worthy of this recognition and thanked her for her continued commitment to the counseling profession and for being a model counselor in the state of Virginia.”

Jackson was also selected as Counselor of the Year by the Hampton Roads Counselor Association in April 2012.
