VBSchools.com has been experiencing periodic technical difficulties. Our engineers have been working diligently to address these issues.
While the site is back currently, we felt it wise to post information that is typically highly visited on VBSchools.com webpages. This week’s adjusted schedule has warranted many questions. VBCPS staff and administration compiled this list of frequently requested pieces of information for you to have at your disposal while the site is being worked on.

After-school and extracurricular activities are being decided on a site by site basis, so parents should consult school principals for a specific event/activity. Parks and Recreation after-school programs do not typically operate on Saturday. Therefore, they will not be in operation on Feb. 15.

Our Brandon Middle school student has been following their new schedule that was verbally given to them on February 3 and they have followed it ever since then.
New Times are 910-350 with adjustments during classes during day as well.
Our child has followed it because we trust in his word. However – NOTHING has been provided to the PARENTS. After many attempts to try and get answers, to no avail, we are trying here.
Did all middle schools change their schedules? Is it just Brandon MS? Why? How long? And most importantly, why parents were not notified officially? All official school sites state 920-350 and yet our child goes.
Transportation was notified because all buses are gone before 905 and they use to not get off bus til 905.
Please investigate and get to the bottom of this. Communication needs big time improvement especially since administration did not know of this, so lack of parent notification doesnt surprise us anymore. If administration did know, explain why parental notification was not given?
Per Dr. Magula’s statement regarding Middle School parents Feb. 11 – transportation and middle school parents would be an issue.
Transportation adjusted for this schedule so that is doable. Middle school parents complaining – find it insulting since our children at Brandon are following a different schedule and no complaints, based on our children’s word alone. If there are parents complaining – can’t be anymore complaints then already being given at this.
Please investigate and post to Facebook, Twitter or to the news channels because they come first in the chain of notification, never mind that not all parents/students have accounts on those sites and have no plans to create one. So please distribute notification via email or good old flyers/memos.
