Seventh-grade English students at Brandon Middle School worked together to create commercials that pertained to a Greek myth or god/goddess and immersed themselves in folk lore. The students worked in stations, to not only film their commercials, but explore folk lore as well. At the completion of the lesson, the students used the acquired information from the stations to create a four square prewriting graphic organizer, which they turned into a paper comparing and contrasting different types of folk lore.
