Bayside Middle’s fashionistas take the runway

The Lady’z Club at Bayside Middle School put their best foot forward when they modeled formal wear at the SCA Talent Show.  Shimmering in silk, satin, and velvet, they chose shoes and jewelry to complete their look.  Staff members Susan Proffitt, Connie Williams, Beverly Felder, Sharon Alston-Felder, Nicole Bostic and Sheila Anacta helped the girls with makeup and hair styling as well as walking across the stage.

Their gowns were donated to a wardrobe closet that the Lady’z Club created for the girls to borrow outfits. A week before the event, a professional model came to Bayside Middle to show the girls how to walk on a runway and to help them practice.
