Billy Sager, Elizabeth Robinson, and Maggie Minary, seventh graders at Bayside Middle School, wanted to make a difference in school spirit. After writing inspiration quotes on Post-a-Notes for about a month, one afternoon they taped them to most of the seventh grade lockers. Members of the National Junior Honor Society helped, and a month later they repeated the project in the eighth grade hall.
Elizabeth Robinson said they wanted people to feel positive about themselves, and Billy Sager added that they wanted to make the school a positive place. Most messages have stayed taped to the lockers almost through the end of the school year.
What a great idea! Keep up the good work.
