Arrowhead students dive into STEM

Arrowhead Elementary School recently launched its first-ever STEM Robotics Club  with the support of the school’s Partner in Education, Mobile Diving and Salvage Unit Two (MDSU 2).

Navy divers and electronics technicians shared their expertise and specialized equipment with Arrowhead students. They will continue to work with teacher-mentors throughout the school year as technical advisors to encourage and support students as they participate in problem solving design challenges to develop their Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) skills.
