Called <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.vbschools.com\/compass\/beyond2020\/pdfs\/Compassto2025Framework.pdf\">Compass to 2025<\/a>, this plan will set the direction and goals for the division for the next five years. Interested stakeholders are invited to weigh in from now until Oct. 25 by participating in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.vbschools.com\/compass\/beyond2020\/index.asp\">virtual town hall<\/a> or at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/navigating-the-journey-features-school-programs-and-services\/\">Navigating the Journey<\/a> event Thursday, Oct. 17, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past year, VBCPS received feedback that has been valuable in designing the next framework. Students, teachers, administrators, parents, business and community representatives offered insight and input through community meetings, a virtual town hall, a community Strategic Plan Committee and several strategy development sessions.<\/p>\n<p>After this virtual town hall closes, public feedback will be compiled and considered before presenting the plan to the School Board in November.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about the existing Compass to 2020 strategic plan, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.vbschools.com\/compass\/2020\/landing.asp\">vbschools.com<\/a>.
