Red Mill Elementary School SCA’s fundraiser, “Pennies for Patients,” was a huge success.<\/p>\n

As a school, a total of $4,651.75 in donations was collected.<\/p>\n

Savannah Eppley and American Anderson, Red Mill Elementary SCA members, proudly hold up the “Champions for Change” banner that will be displayed for participating in the fundraiser, “Pennies for Patients” for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This money will go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for research, education, and patient care and much of this money stays right in the Hampton Roads area.<\/p>\n

Mark Schmidt’s fifth-grade class collected the most donations during the fundraiser. As a special “thank you,” they enjoyed a spaghetti luncheon provided by Olive Garden. The school also received a special “Champions of Change” school participation banner.<\/p>\n
