{"id":6896,"date":"2017-08-07T08:36:55","date_gmt":"2017-08-07T12:36:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/?p=6896"},"modified":"2017-08-13T21:11:45","modified_gmt":"2017-08-14T01:11:45","slug":"nas-oceana-air-show-stem-lab-day-returning-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/nas-oceana-air-show-stem-lab-day-returning-year\/","title":{"rendered":"NAS Oceana Air Show STEM Lab Day returning this year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s back.<\/p>\n<p>For the second consecutive year, more than 5,000 of the school division fifth-graders will head to Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana for a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Lab Day.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, students will have the chance to take part in hands-on activities and learn about STEM careers in a real-world setting. In addition, numerous community organizations are donating their time and resources to support the interactive activities for students.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s STEM Lab Day will take place Friday, Sept. 15.
