We visited\u00a0Diamond Springs Elementary to get\u00a0their\u00a0advice for the incoming Class of 2030. Here\u2019s what they said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would tell them to be a leader, not to scream out or yell out the teacher\u2019s name over and over again. And I would tell them to be humble and kind. I would tell them to be very, very good.\u201d \u2013 Ashanti<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKindergarten is about learning about trying to read and learning about spring stuff and learning about which verbs sound like &#8216;ch&#8217; or &#8216;sh.&#8217;\u201d \u2013 Rachel<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would tell them I learned about clocks, money and reading books.\u201d \u2013 Kyree<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would tell them kindergarten is a fun place. You get to see yourself in the tv and get to see yourself dance in the tv.\u201d \u2013 Antwan<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSit quietly while the teacher is talking.\u00a0Raise your hand when you want to say something to your teacher or if you have the flu you got to go to the nurse.\u201d \u2013 Nicco<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would say when they kick people, &#8216;Don\u2019t kick people because that\u2019s rude.&#8217; You\u2019re supposed to be humble and kind to other people and no kicking.\u201d \u2013 Rashad<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s fun in kindergarten and we get to play math stations and we like to learn and read books.\u201d \u2013 Lauren<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRaise your hand and be proactive.\u201d \u2013 Taylah<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn kindergarten you learn. You have fun and you have a good day at school.\u201d \u2013 Amara<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUse nice manners.
