At the VBCPS Career Expo Saturday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Green Run High School, job seekers will have the opportunity to meet division staff and start an application onsite. “Potential candidates need to bring with them their resume or any other pertinent documents that will support their qualification and skills for the particular job that they are looking for,” shared Anne Glenn-Zeljeznjak, coordinator of recruitment and retention for VBCPS.<\/p>\n
Though applications will be accepted for all teaching positions, VBCPS is particularly interested in applicants eligible to teach\u00a0math, special education, world languages and technical education. The division is also seeking applicants interested in working as bus drivers, cafeteria assistants and substitutes (teacher and clerical) as well as those qualified to work in information technology and skilled trades.<\/p>\n Information sessions will be held throughout the day to provide an\u00a0overview of the hiring and application process and to review\u00a0the hiring processes specific to substitutes and school administrators.
