March is designated as Theatre in Our School Month; however,\u00a0all throughout the year our high schools showcase the theatrical talents of students with a variety of productions.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re a Good Man, Charlie Brown\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cActor’s Nightmare\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGotta Dance!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOthello\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Little Mermaid\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c12 Angry Jurors\u201d<\/p>\n

\"Salem<\/p>\n

At the Group 5A and 6A Virginia High School League (VHSL) State Theatre Festival March 5 two VBCPS high school ensembles and three actors earned awards.<\/p>\n

Princess Anne High School (PAHS) was the state runner-up in the Group 5A ensemble competition for its performance of \u201cWiley and the Hairy Man.\u201d\u00a0PAHS students Shannon Hughes and Annie Fick earned Group 5A Outstanding Actor awards.<\/p>\n

First Colonial High School (FCHS) was the state runner-up in the Group 6A ensemble competition for its performance of \u201cMirrors.\u201d\u00a0FCHS student David Crouse earned a Group 6A Outstanding Actor award.<\/p>\n
