Candidates are the top-scoring students in their state on the College Board SAT or ACT college admissions exams, or are amongst the nation&#8217;s top performers in the visual, literary and performing arts.<\/p>\n<p>Of the eight VBCPS student candidates for this year&#8217;s honor, six are from Ocean Lakes High School and two from Princess Anne High School:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>John B. Edwards, Ocean Lakes High School<\/li>\n<li>Alana Allbritton, Ocean Lake High School<\/li>\n<li>Samantha C. Crowley, Ocean Lakes High School<\/li>\n<li>*Cassandra Howard, Ocean Lakes High School<\/li>\n<li>Merly T. Konathapally, Ocean Lakes High School<\/li>\n<li>Jongmyung Lim, Princess Anne High School<\/li>\n<li>Killian J. Reddy, Ocean Lakes High School<\/li>\n<li>Angela M. Tang-Tan, Princess Anne High School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*In 2015, the program was expanded to recognize the nation&#8217;s most accomplished students in career and technical education.
