Students and parents are invited to attend to learn more about the following programs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Entrepreneurship and Business Academy<\/li>\n<li>Global Studies and World Languages Academy<\/li>\n<li>Governor\u2019s STEM and Technology Academy<\/li>\n<li>Health Sciences Academy<\/li>\n<li>International Baccalaureate Program<\/li>\n<li>Legal Studies Academy<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics and Science Academy<\/li>\n<li>Visual and Performing Arts Academy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Doors open at 5 p.m. for attendees to visit exhibits and speak with program representatives. A welcome session at 6 p.m. will include an overview of all programs, introduction of program coordinators and transportation services information. Following the opening session, students and parents may attend concurrent breakout sessions for the individual programs. The concurrent sessions will repeat on the half-hour (6:30, 7, 7:30 and 8).<\/p>\n<p>A complete schedule and information packet for the citywide event is available on the Academy and Advanced Academic Programs Information Nights page on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vbschools.com\/curriculum\/academyprog\/info.asp\">vbschools.com<\/a>. This page also has the dates and times of each program\u2019s individual information night hosted at their respective home schools throughout November and December.<\/p>\n<p>Applications for academy and\/or advanced academic programs are due Jan. 11, 2006.
