The theme of the event will be \u201cScience and Technology\u201d and Victoria Jackson, a policy analyst for the Bureau of Diplomatic Security for the U.S. Department of State will serve as the day\u2019s keynote speaker.<\/p>\n<p>In her role, Jackson, a Landstown alumna, coordinates a variety of security related policies that are implemented within U.S. embassies and missions throughout the world. In addition, Jackson also previously served as a \u201cPathways Intern\u201d for the department, where she supported the coordination of policies related to security infrastructure and cyber security.<\/p>\n<p><em>Beach Girls Rock!<\/em> will begin at 8 a.m., and eighth- and ninth-grade female students can register for the workshop at their guidance office.<\/p>\n<p>As always, parents are encouraged to attend any <em>Beach Girls Rock! <\/em>workshop.
