Figuring that his students&#8217; findings would be of interest to others, Crider then had his students display their research on Materials Systems in the school&#8217;s library media center.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The response was immediate.<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/?attachment_id=18\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-18\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-18\" alt=\"PAHS_Technical Education_2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/PAHS_Technical-Education_2-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/PAHS_Technical-Education_2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/PAHS_Technical-Education_2-1024x770.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/PAHS_Technical-Education_2-398x300.jpg 398w, https:\/\/www.vbcpsblogs.com\/core\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/PAHS_Technical-Education_2.jpg 1793w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Other passersby in the library media center were intrigued by the project &#8211; a result that Crider hopes will spark enough interest to persuade students to enroll in his future classes.<\/p>\n<p>A fascinating look at the engineering of common machines, the hands-on, collaborative research projects are not only interesting, they are also models of investigation that embody the objectives of Compass to 2015.
