These individuals have been honored as outstanding American history students or outstanding American history teachers, and one student is the Flag of the United States of America contest winner.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to thank the Daughters of the American Revolution for partnering with Virginia Beach City Public Schools to honor our outstanding American History students and teachers,\u201d said Superintendent Aaron Spence. \u201cWhile we have not been able to celebrate in person this year, I hope they feel a great sense of accomplishment, and I am delighted to recognize them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The students honored with these recognitions have not only excelled in the classroom but are outstanding examples of responsible and engaged citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The awarded teachers work to inspire the students of VBCPS students daily.
