Young, Freeman named ‘Trailblazing Teachers’ by Center for Green Schools

Kemps Landing Magnet School’s Jamie Young and Kellam High School’s Christopher Freeman have been named two “Trailblazing Teachers” by the United States Green Building Council’s Center for Green Schools.

Ten teachers are selected twice each year from across the country, and both Young and Freeman made this fall’s list. According to the USGBC, in order to be selected, applicants must “demonstrate their commitment to advance ecoliteracy and bring environmental sustainability into the classroom.”

Young and Freeman join Ocean Lakes High School’s Laura Wood, who was named to the spring list earlier this year.

Congratulations!
