VBEF grants support your innovative projects

The Virginia Beach Education Foundation (VBEF) offers teachers funding for innovative projects that benefit students.

Teachers can access applications on the Media and Communications forms page on www.vbcps.com to request funding for the 2015-16 school year. The following grants are available this fall:

  • Innovative Learning Grants (up to $2,000) and
  • Sustainability Impact Project Grants (up to $1,000).

To view past projects awarded funding through the VBEF grants program, visit the Adopt A+ Grants page on www.vbef.org.

You can help fund future teacher grants by designating your United Way pledge to the VBEF. Enter #2851 on your 2015-16 United Way pledge form to specify that you like your contribution to be directed to the Virginia Beach Education Foundation.

For more information, contact VBEF coordinator Debbie Griffey at 757-263-1337.
