Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) Superintendent Dr. Aaron Spence sent a letter to all VBCPS staff and families Wednesday night. In it, Spence addressed some of the recent social media threats made against Virginia Beach schools, and reminded families of the importance of digital citizenship.

Additionally, Spence announced the launch of the Be Social, Be Smart, Be Safe campaign, which will provide students and families necessary insight into appropriate social media use.
