Diamond Springs is proud of kindergarten teacher, Brandon Thompson, who won third place in the Virginian Pilot Newspaper Box art contest. Ten artists decorated and transformed newspaper boxes to commemorate 150 years of the newspaper.

Thompson used the same creative talents that capture the minds of kindergarteners to transform his newspaper box into a colorful monster. The boxes are on display at the Plot in the Norfolk Arts District. http://mypilotmedia.com/pilotboxart
