OfficeMax bestows A Day Made Better awards

This fall, OfficeMax honored four VB Schools teachers with its annual “A Day Made Better” program.

Seatack Elementary’s Suzanne Myers, Shelton Park Elementary’s Stephanie Kot, Birdneck Elementary’s Elizabeth Schulz and Rosemont Elementary’s Laura Silverman were all named A Day Made Better award winners by OfficeMax.

To earn this honor, each school’s principal had to nominate the teacher based on three criteria set by OfficeMax: passion for teaching; innovation in the classroom; and dedication to the profession and success of their students.

For being named a winner, teachers were surprised in their classroom by local OfficeMax employees and presented with $1,000 worth of school supplies for the year. Additionally, each teacher was awarded a Kindle Fire.

Congratulations!
