Matney named Virginia Student Councils Association Administrator of the Year

Dr. Brian Matney, principal of Landstown High School, has been named the Virginia Student Councils Association Administrator of the Year for 2013 – 2014.  This decision was made by the Advisory Committee of the Virginia Student Councils Association (VSCA), upon the recommendation of the VSCA Awards and Elections Subcommittee.

The official awarding of this distinction will take place during the Virginia Student Councils Convention Awards Banquet.

  1. Mr. Matney is a phenomenal human being. He is energetic and positive. I am so impressed with his style of leadership and I believe the Council chose the right man for the award. Congratulations! It is refreshing to have leaders in our schools who inspire!
