Matney earns NISL endorsement

matney pictureDr. Brian Matney, principal of Landstown High School: Governor’s STEM & Technology Academy, has been endorsed by National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) as a certified trainer in the Commonwealth. He is one of nine trainers across Virginia and one of two standing principals so endorsed following a rigorous 18-month program.

NISL, with its focus on instructional support and educational equity, was recently recognized by Business Roundtable as one of the nation’s five most outstanding executive development programs for administrators in America.

Already this year, Matney has led sessions before a cohort of administrators from Henrico County, Prince Edward County, Richmond and Petersburg.
