Michael Maloney, principal of Malibu Elementary challenged Nicole Bailey, assistant principal, to a tricycle race if the school would reach 100 percent membership in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). That goal was reached in February and on Wednesday, March 4, the race was on. Parents, staff and students got to have a front row seat to the race. In a close finish, Bailey prevailed. Maloney thanked the parents in attendance and reminded all that the real winner was the school and its community.
