Linda Lavender, Advanced Technology Center Network Administration and Cybersecurity instructor was one of just 20 teachers nationwide selected to attend the GenCyber Camp at James Madison University.

According to JMU, the camp was “developed with the goal of facilitating cyber security education growth and attracting and recruiting college bound students to the field of cyber security.” At the camp, Lavender learned cyber security teaching methodologies as well as received resources for both the cyber security teaching and learning curricula.
