Landstown High School celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week with grand slam enthusiasm. The school took on the week-long theme, “You’re All-Stars in Every Way,” for the faculty. Stadium staples and ballpark favorites have been shared each day, from popcorn and candy to ball caps, peanuts, and the like, compliments of the administrative team. The SCA, under the direction of sponsors Mikaela Gilchrist and Kim Nurse, is offering complimentary car washes and even had Skinny Dip for yogurt treats for the teachers. As always, the PTSA, led by President Shelly Jones, hosted its traditional luncheon and is sharing door prizes and mementos each day.
Assistant principal Natasha Christian, math teacher Karen Collins, English instructor Jennifer Morris and office manager Debbie French assisted the administrative team in coordinating the week’s activities for Landstown staff.
